How to Import a Template from a Layout

Applying a New Template to Layout Space

You can copy the template layout out of the new .dwt file into any existing drawings.

• Open your existing drawing
• Right click on your Letter Landscape template tab
• Select “From Template"

• Browse to your Templates folder and select your .dwt drawing (note, if you forgot to save template as a dwt it won’t appear until you set “Files of Type” to .dwg)

• Select your template file when prompted by the dialog you see below:
